KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF IRDP 1
  • Sensitized 12,183 (43.3% women) people in 132 project beneficiary communities.
  • Strengthened  capacity of 4,219(1,525 females and 2,694 males) farmers in safe use and handling of agrochemicals, agricultural 
     value chain financing, post-harvest management, agribusiness, farm management, good agricultural practices, and other
     agronomic practices.
  • Constructed 245 socio-economic infrastructure in 132 communities in the then 10 regions of Ghana.
  • The socio-economic infrastructure comprised 25No. 6-Unit Classroom Blks; 24 Teachers’ Qtrs; 22 Clinics; 22 Maternity Centres; 22    
     Nurses’ Qtrs; 111 mechanized Boreholes; 16 Culverts and Drains; and 3 Mkts.
  • Disbursed US$2,059,931 to 3,046 farmers.
