Louis Asomaning-Bimpong is the Small Scale Enterprise Specialist/Public-Private Partnership Specialist of the Social Investment Fund (SIF). Louis offered Business Administration at the first degree at the University of Ghana. At the second degree level he pursued M.Phil in Development Studies at the Centre for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast.

He also holds, among others, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the Galilee International Management Institute, Mizra, Israel, a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Consultancy for Small and Medium Scale Industries from the Academy of Management, Kiel, Germany, and another Post Graduate Certificate in Project Planning and Implementation from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He has over 25 years extensive training and experience in Business Advocacy, Training Delivery Services, Project Planning and Management, Project Appraisal, Management of Credit Operations (microcredit, short and medium-term lending to small-scale enterprises) and Small Business Counseling and Advisory Services for small-scale enterprises (SSEs).

With over 25 years working experience, Louis worked with the Ghanaian Enterprises Development Commission (GEDC) and the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) and rose to the rank of Regional Manager. He also worked with Friedrich Naumann Foundation of Germany, Ghana Office and was in charge of Business Development. He was later a Credit Manager at Empretec Ghana Foundation in charge of Western and Central Regions. Before joining, SIF as the Small Scale Enterprise Specialist/Public-Private Partnership Specialist, Louis was the Business Development Manager and Head of the Business Development Department of the Private Enterprise Foundation (PEF).

Macdonald Acquah is a Development Professional with over ten years’ experience in Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Training and Capacity Building, Socio-economic Research, Decentralization and Local Governance. He has Master’s Degree in Development Studies and International Relations from the University of Aalborg in Denmark and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

A Procurement Specialist and a Building Technologist by profession, Mr. Kwaku Agbesi is the Procurement Specialist of the Social Investment Fund, a Project Management Consultancy firm headquartered in Accra.

Kwaku prior to joining the SIF in 2013 was the Municipal Engineer for the New Juaben Municipal Assembly which he joined in 2002. Kwaku had his higher education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology( KNUST) Kumasi from 1996 to 2000 and graduated with a Bsc. Building Technology ,he further qualified with a Msc. Construction Management in 2010 and is presently undergoing a Doctoral course in PhD in Building Technology at the same University..

Kwaku Agbesi has had various experience in Procurement Consultancy on World Bank and Africa Development Bank Procurement practices and attended numerous  training programs including one organized by International Labour Organisation on Selection and recruitment of consultants in World Bank Funded Project in Turin, Italy in 2011.

He has a number of published works to his credit including ‘Organisational Adoption of Sustainable Procurement in the Construction Industry’, Development of a Conceptual Model; proceedings of the12th International Post Graduate Research Conference at Manchester (Salford University) UK, and Compliance Assessment of the Public Procurement Act 2003( MSc. Unpublished Thesis)- case study of selected Government Institutions in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Henrietta Efua Larbi is the Head of the Human Resource and Administration Unit of the Social Investment Fund. She is an Administrative Practioner with fifteen years of experience, ten out of the 15 years have been in Progressive Administration, Operations and Maintenance Management and five years in Human Resource Management.

Henrietta brings a wealth of experience to the SIF Team having worked in environs with multi-cultural diversities. She has worked with the Trasaaco Estate Development Corporation, Komatsu Ghana Limited and Development Section of the High Commission of Canada in Ghana.

Henrietta has held varied positions at the SIF prior to being the Head of HR. She holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Studies from University of Cape-Coast and an HND in Secretaryship and Management Studies from Accra Polytechnic.

Henrietta has attended varied leadership programs and training workshops.

ALOIS K. K. MOHL is a Social Development Expert with over two decades professional practice (1992-2018).

He has expertise in Project Management and Public Administration and worked in the Public Service of Ghana spanning twenty-seven years, twelve of which has been at the Management level.

He has consulted widely with International Agencies/Organisations, Non-governmental Organisation (NGOs) and Professionals across Europe, The United States of America and Ghana in the areas of Child Protection and Welfare, Social Service delivery, NGO capacity building, among others, to strategically structure their activities for growth and job creation.

Earlier in his professional carrier, he served variously as Head of Ghana’s Desk for International Social Services (ISS), Non-Governmental Organisations and Care Reforms Initiative (CRI).

His professional and Managerial teeth have been cut through various training courses, Conferences and Seminars in Ghana, The United Kingdom, Italy, Ethiopia, Israel, The Republic of South Africa and The United States of America.

Alois K. K. MOHL, is an Alumnus of Mountcrest University College, Accra, Central University, Accra, University of Ghana, Legon and School of Social Work, Accra, where he obtained LLB, MBA (Human Resource Management), BA (Political Science, Major with Sociology, Minor) and Certificate in Social Work, respectively.

He is married with children.

Mr. Kofi Frimpong, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kwabre East Constituency (2005-2016) is the Executive Director (ED) of the Social Investment Fund (SIF).  His appointment took effect from Friday, 12th May, 2017.

Mr. Frimpong was Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Trade, Industry and Tourism (2005 -2016); member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance (2005 – 2016); and the President of the Association of Western European Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance (2005 – 20016); and the President of the Association of Western European Parliamentarians for Africa, (AWEPA) from 1985 to 2014.

As a member of the Standing Committee on Finance, Hon. Kofi Frimpong has been part of several Government delegations to World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings in Washington DC USA, and elsewhere around the world.

Hon. Kofi Frimpong brings to the Executive Director position, more than twenty-five (25) years of public and private sector experience in the fields of organizational and business development including health care delivery services.

Hon. Kofi Frimpong holds a BA (Hons) Sociology degree from the University of Ghana, Legon.  He has attended several Management and Leadership Courses, both local and international, and has completed the prestigious Stanford Executive Program.
